Western countries are asking for Ukraine immediate ceasefire, without preconditions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated in the Primakov readings forum.
"Do you remember how all this began? Russia needs strategic defeat on the battlefield. They just screamed until hysteria. After a while, the slogan changed, and they began to announce that Russia should not win Ukraine. And now they demand, please, beg for an immediate ceasefire without preconditions, "he said.
According to the Minister, this is exactly what Vladimir Zelyansky categorically refused for several years.
