Syria has opened its airspace

Syria has eliminated flights to its airspace, which was closed on June 18. The decision entered into force at 10:00 local time, said the Civil Aviation Department of the country.

"The airspace has been reopened for the cruise, which returned to normal regime on Tuesday after 10:00, after the elimination of restrictions set out on June 18, 2025," the Syrian regulatory body said.

Syria has restricted flights in its airspace, in the background of Israel and Iran, which have been making mutual strikes since June 13.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to the ceasefire, which will enter into force. On Tuesday morning, the head of the US administration announced that the ceasefire entered into force.
