On October 18, an emergency occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:00, the National Center for 9-11 Crisis Management of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alert that a passenger bus was on fire in the section leading from Azatutyan Avenue to Teryan Street.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, 1 combat unit from the Yerevan fire-rescue squad of the rescue service arrived, as well as the patrols of the 3rd battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the RA Internal Affairs Police Patrol Service.

Before the arrival of the firefighters, the driver of the "Zhong Tong" bus serving route number 40 registered in the balance sheet of the Yerevan Municipality noticed fire and smoke in the back part and took the correct orientation, first evacuating the passengers and then extinguishing the fire. According to preliminary information, fortunately there were no casualties. The patrol service finds out the identity of the driver.
