Poland and Germany can stop social assistance to Ukrainian refugees


Polish Interior Minister Tomasz Siemionak and German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt have called on Ukrainian refugees to social assistance systems. This was reported by the website of the Polish Ministry.

"As for the situation with refugees in Poland and Germany, the ministers expect more support from the EU budget than it has been provided so far. Additional efforts should be made to refugees to independence from social assistance system, "the statement came from the Polish Interior Ministry.

According to the Ministry, about 1 million Ukrainian citizens live in Germany at present. At the same time, the number of Ukrainian refugees in Poland is 1.5 million.
