The sanctions imposed by the European Union (EU), which can damage the country, said Prime Minister Robert Fisco, Reuters reports.
"If there are sanctions that will harm us, I will never vote for them. I am interested in being a constructive player at the European Council sessions, but not at the loss of Slovakia, "he said.
Earlier, Slovakian President Petr Pelegrin rejected a petition demanding a referendum on anti-Russian sanctions. Pelegrini noted that all the EU sanctions against Russia are accepted by consensus, and without the consent of Slovakia, they do not enter into force.
