Iran hopes for Russian President Vladimir Putin's fast visit to Tehran, Ambassador to Moscow, Ambassador to Moscow, Islamic Republic said.
According to him, relations between Russia and Iran have reached a level of strategic partnership. The visits of high-ranking officials have become regular, and the Russian leader's visit to Tehran is expected in the near future, the embassy press service reported.
On May 14, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Tehran and Moscow are preparing Putin's visit to the Islamic Republic. Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that the dates of the trip are not yet agreed.
For the first time, Putin visited Iran in October 2007 to attend the second summit of the Caspian Sea.
