The Russian court has sentenced a British mercenary Gary Bonin to 14 years in prison, which was connected with European intelligence services. He was found guilty of his mercenary partnership.
According to investigators, Bonin arrived in Ukraine in 2022 and took part in the fight against the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. He was prepared, received weapons, ammunition and financial reward.
It is noted that Bonin used to be a sniper of the British Armed Forces' intelligence unit, took part in military operations in Africa and Afghanistan, supported European intelligence services, often small groups or alone, reports Lenta.Ru reports.
