Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated during a telephone conversation with his Bulgarian counterpart Rumane Radev that Turkey is working to meet between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul. TASS reports.

"Turkey continues to end the war between Ukraine and Russia ... Turkey is working to unite the parties in Istanbul to ensure peace in the region," said the Turkish leader.

According to the statement, during the conversation Erdogan and Radev discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Bulgaria, regional and world issues.
