Analyst Karen Bekaryan said this during the parliamentary hearings called by the "Armenia" faction on the draft of the NA statement "On the absurd relevance of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia". "It contained challenges, starting from trampling the subjectivity of Artsakh, ending with disrupting the negotiation process. This was also a serious blow to the negotiation process, but it was a bigger blow to the positions of the Armenian side," Bekaryan emphasized. "Now what is the most interesting thing? On November 11, 2022, Pashinyan will give an interview to Public TV and when a question is raised about the statement made in Veraznndi Square, he says that he relied on the declaration of independence of the Republic of Armenia," he stressed and added that with this step, Pashinyan actually made a confession. "The person relied on the Declaration of Independence, created the greatest risk, made a self-confession, it has not been 2 years since the person claims that our declaration of independence, particularly the part concerning Artsakh, has no legal force, has nothing to do with the Constitution, it is not possible to rely on it" - he remarked. Bekaryan raises a question: does the violation of the constitutional order "happen with a nose and a tail?" According to his observation, Pashinyan violated the constitutional order when he declared that Artsakh is Armenia and that's it. "Today, we have reached the point where there is a need to protect the document of our country's existence, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. No matter how absurd it sounds, RA has power, from which Armenia should be protected," said Bekaryan.
