"While Russia has been trying to establish a consulate in Syunik since 2023, and the Armenian authorities have been torpedoed in different reasons, France, months ago the wishes will be implemented in the coming days.
An Armenian-French conference will be held in Goris on June 2, the opening ceremony of the French Consulate in Syunik will be on the same day.
We wrote that Carmen Apunz, President of the Union of French-speakers, will be appointed Consul.
The expert circles have already said that "the French Consulate in Syunik will have a strict military, intelligence, which will serve the collective west."
