"The Israeli Defense Army stated on Sunday that it intends to occupy 75% of the Gaza Strip within two months, within the framework of a new attack on Hamas terrorist group," the statement said.
The publication notes that at the moment the Israeli military controls about 40% of the passage, and it will take about two months to capture the remaining 35% of the area.
In addition, Times of Israel reports that more than two million civilians will be transferred to the "safe zones" area located in the Al-Mavas region of Gaza, Central Deir al-Balah and Nusirat district of Gaza and Gazaia in Gaza region.
