Several stages of consultations on the settlement of the conflict between the Palestinian Hamas movement and Israel, which took place in Doha, have not led to rapprochement of the parties. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Bin Abdul Rahmani Tan.
"Unfortunately, the stages of the talks in Doha have not yet led to the past few weeks, as there is a basic gap between the two sides," he said at the Economic Forum.
"One side seeks to achieve a partial deal that can lead to a comprehensive agreement, and the other side seeks a one-time transaction to stop the war and release all hostages," said the Prime Minister.
"We have not been able to overcome this fundamental gap, despite all our proposals, especially given the past experience when the first transaction failed," Muhammad Ben Abdul Rahmani Tani continued.
