Ishkhan Zakaryan was presented with Vladimir Putin's state award in Moscow

The chairman of the Pan-Armenian Games World Committee was awarded the Order of Friendship in Moscow.

According to the decree of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ishkhan Zakaryan, the chairman of the Pan-Armenian Games World Committee, was awarded the Order of Friendship in Moscow for his great contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, as well as for strengthening peace and friendship between peoples. This was reported by the correspondent of TASS.

The award was presented to Zakaryan by the special representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov. Oleg Matitsyn, the head of the physical culture and sports committee of the State Duma, and Sergey Stepashin, the president of the IPPO, were also present at the awarding ceremony.

"I would like to personally express my gratitude to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the Russian government. It is a great honor for me to receive the Order of Friendship.

"I am sure that we will be able to overcome today's difficult period for our people and we will follow the path of strategic partnership. I believe in real cooperation and real mutual understanding," said NA deputy Ishkhan Zakaryan.
