The founder of Telegram Pavel Durov has said that the head of the French Foreign Intelligence Service Nicolas has turned to him to block the conservative votes in Romania. Durov noted that the meeting took place at the luxurious Crillon Hotel in Paris, where he was under the suspicion of organized body. "We have not blocked the protesters in Russia, Belarus or Iran, and we will not start doing it in Europe," Durov wrote on the X platform, Reuters reports.
The General Directorate of the French Foreign Intelligence (DGSE) has denied the allegations, noting that the Telegram leadership has only met only over terrorism and child molestation. The French Foreign Ministry also responded to call on all parties to respect the democracy of Romania. Durov's statement has also recreated the Ilo Mask, commenting "WOW", which immediately intensified the western right-wing circles that claim that extremist or conservative votes are under pressure from Europe.
