European leaders realize the need to communicate with Georgia. Irakli Kobachidze

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that European leaders realize that it is necessary to talk to Tbilisi's Georgian government leaders.

This was reported by the Georgian ministry of SPUTNIK agency, citing Kobakhidze's statement after the European Political community summit in Tiranan.

It is noted that the Prime Minister of Georgia took part in the summit at the invitation of the President of the European Council Antonio Costa.

"As you know, there were some restrictions in communication, and, as you can see, our European partners missed relations with Georgia. In fact, everyone needs to realize that Georgia plays a very important role in Europe, particularly for the European Union, our role in the region is very important. Based on this, everyone realizes that it is necessary to talk to Georgia with the leaders of the Georgian government. And it is probably expressed by the fact that the initiatives often came from European leaders, "Irakli Kobakhidze said.

The Georgian Prime Minister noted that he had the opportunity to talk to about 30 political leaders at the summit, and during the round table he emphasized "the need to change some of the injustices of Georgia."

In addition, Kobakhidze has made bilateral meetings with Slovakia and Hungary with his counterparts, Robert Fico and Victori Orban in Tirana.

It should be noted that the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan also took part in the summit of the European Political Community. The Prime Minister of Armenia had a number of meetings with European partners, as well as short meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
