At the European Political community summit, the President of Ukraine made statements on Russian-Ukrainian talks in Turkey. According to Zelyansky, in Istanbul, the Russian delegation is represented at a low level, and none of its members are authorized to make decisions in Russia.
"If Russian representatives in Istanbul will not agree today on the ceasefire, it will be clear that Putin continues to boycott diplomacy. If it turns out that the participation of the Russian delegation is simply a show, the international community is obliged to respond strongly, including sanctions on Russia's energy sector and banks, "Zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine is convinced that in order to create minimal trust in peace talks, it is necessary to exchange prisoners of war and ensure the return of children.
