Finland will open a new border security testing station

The Yoensetan, which is 70 miles [70 km] from the Russian border, will open a scene at the Test of Border Security Technologies on Thursday, Yle TV reports.

"Joensu is planned to build a new trial of the border protection," the article reads.

The city is located in the eastern Finland, about 70 miles [70 km] from the Russian border.

According to YLE, this place will be a laboratory in Joensou and the Wuosanaka Test area, which belongs to the Finnish defense forces. The laboratory will be put into operation step by step in early 2026, broadcast reports.
