The meeting of EU defense leaders will take place in Brussels on May 15 the next day of NATO's similar meeting. The press service of the EU Council informs about this.
"On May 15, during the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Military Committee, General Robert Brigger, the EU Military Committee will meet at the level of defense," the statement said.
The main topic of the meeting will be the reform and adaptation of the EU institutions and the armed forces by the European Commission within the framework of the strategy of increasing the efficiency of European countries until 2030.
This meeting will thus be the direct continuation of the consultations of the Chiefs of NATO General Staff on May 14, which will also take place in Brussels.
