Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited "Engineering City" with EU Ambassador Vasilis Maragos


The Minister of High Technological Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to "Engineering City" on May 12.

Executive by Minister Hayrapetyan and Ambassador Maragos, the director of the director of the "Incubator Foundation" Director of the "Engineering Association" Council Aram Salatyan and Ambassador Maragos toured "Engineering City". RA Deputy Minister of BTA Ruben Simonyan also took part in the tour.

The Ambassador was presented with the main directions of the activities of the IC, the programs and initiatives, as well as the vision of the initiative.

The Ambassador got acquainted with the existing infrastructure, the activities and products of the high-tech accelerator in "Engineering City", as well as the activities of the already existing companies, will share its impressions.

The parties exchanged views on new opportunities and directions of cooperation, agreements were reached to follow further.

The "Engineering City" is a program of state-private partnership implemented by the "Enterprise Incubator" Foundation, with the active and key support of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, in cooperation with a number of companies of the Engineering Association and a private sector.

At the moment, 30 engineering and high-tech organization, 350 employees, mostly experienced engineers are involved in the engineering city.
