The EU countries have started agreeing on the 17th package of sanctions against Russia, the EU Standing Representatives Committee (Coreper) on Monday's session on Monday.
The ambassadors will "discuss restrictive measures against Russia to disrupt the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine," the document said.
The European Commission presented the 17th package of sanctions to the countries of the community last week. As Bloomberg reported earlier, the EC offers to include 60 individuals and organizations transporting Russian oil to the list, ignoring the Western attempts to set price ceilings.
The EC seeks to approve this package during the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers on May 20.
