The priority of the US administration in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict is the immediate ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. The statement came from US Secretary of State Marco Rubion during a telephone conversation with British Foreign Minister David Lami on Sunday.
"The Secretary of State has repeated the position of the United States on the war between Russia and Ukraine. Our priority remains to suspend hostilities and get the immediate ceasefire.
"The Secretary expressed the support of the United States for direct dialogue between India and Pakistan and has encouraged to improve communication," earlier US President Donald Trump called on Ukraine's talks offered by his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, which may take place in Turkey on May 15.
