Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Sunday that Turkey is ready to promote ceasefire and sustainable peace in Ukraine, according to RIA Novosti.
Erdogan had a telephone conversation with French President Emanuel Mcron on Sunday.
"President Erdogan has announced the historical turnaround time to stop the war between Ukraine and Russia. According to him, this opportunity should be assessed, Turkey is ready to contribute to the ceasefire and stable peace, including Ankara ready to accept the negotiations, "the administration said in a statement.
