Hours after the announcement of the ceasefire, the Indian air defense was recorded by the Pakistan ATS in the country's airspace, according to Times of India. According to the newspaper, explosions and air signals were heard in Srinagar, and in other parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
In several regions of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Punjab and Rajarthan states, the authorities have turned off electricity as a means of caution.
The Indian Foreign Ministry stated that Pakistan has violated the agreement on the suspension of hostilities, the Indian army is taking "retaliatory means".
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that India and Pakistan agreed to the ceasefire. In his turn, the Pakistan Foreign Minister confirmed that Deli and Islamabad have agreed to stop hostilities.
