Euljekchian claims that he did not fight in Karabakh, and he was simply photographed in the trenches, and he did not shoot at the arms in his hand. Vigen Euljekchyan was captured one day after the ceasefire on the ceasefire near Shushi. They were stopped by Azerbaijani troops and transported by bus to Baku.
