Employees of the Department of Drug Activities of the Department of Drug Police in the Yerevan City Department received operative information that the man resident of Etchmiadzin was smuggled by a foreigner to sell metampphetamine in Armenia. Report the Interior Ministry.
The information was checked, the identity of Etchmiadzin was clarified, a resident of Zvartnots district, 26 years old.
After the large-scale operative-investigative measures taken, on May 1, at 2 pm, the Yerevan Criminal Police arrested 26-year-old Echmiadzin and two of his fellow citizens with 39 and 40 years old. Along with the "Opel" car driven by the latter, they moved to the board.
With a search of a 26-year-old youth, a package of a zip lock was filled with more than 33 grams of methamphetamine. There was also a mass similar to marijuana.
The car has been moved to a protected special area.
Investigation Department of Shengavit administrative district initiated criminal proceedings, 26-year-old Etchmiadzin was charged. The circumstances are being clarified.
