"Indian naval forces have successfully implemented direct shots on an Indian, trendy underwater naval mine designed to confront stealth ships and submarines," the ministry said. The mine is ready to operate, emphasized the Indian military department.
India Defense Minister Rajnat Singh, commenting on a mine test, said that it would "increase the possibilities of Indian Navy in the underwater wars."
