RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan had a meeting with Indian Parliament Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Geneva, the RA NA reports. Discussing a wide range of issues of bilateral interest, the parties emphasized the deepening nature of Armenian-Indian relations and its importance for both countries.

At the core of the discussions were the issues of taking steps aimed at the parliamentary cooperation of the two countries and the deepening and development of the existing friendly ties.

The interlocutors also touched upon the situation in the region and the signing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
