Spacex's Texas Starbase database has been officially recognized as a city. This was announced by the company's head of the company Ilo Mask on his page x social network.

On May 3, Texas Cameron District officials confirmed the voting held by the people on recognizing the base as a separate city. Starbase is located next to the spacecraft, from which Spacex is launching missiles.
Shortly afterwards, Bloomberg, citing preliminary voting, wrote that Starbase Texas base will become a city. The voters of the southern part of the city gave a decisive victory to the company's head.
According to the results published by the observers of the local elections, about 97% of the 218 voters took part in the formation of the city, according to The Wall Street Journal.
At the same time, according to the publication, some residents living near Starbase are afraid that the union will allow the company to get more electricity.
