The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the destruction of an underground weapons depot in the suburbs of Beirut.

Earlier today, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of a building in the southern suburbs of Beirut, warning that it was in an area where the military "will operate in the near future." On September 23, the Israeli army launched Operation Arrows of the North against Hezbollah, in during which it carries out massive airstrikes on military targets of the Lebanese movement. One strike killed Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Hassan Nasrullah in Beirut on September 27. The movement confirmed his death and promised to continue to oppose Israel.
