Netanyahu has postponed his visit to Azerbaijan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed his visit to Azerbaijan. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the office of the head of the Israeli Cabinet.

"Due to the developments in Gaza and Syria's fronts, as well as a dense military-political agenda, Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided to postpone his visit to Azerbaijan," the statement said.

The office added that Netanyahu thanked the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the invitation. The Israeli Prime Minister noted that he attaches importance to relations between the two countries.

Netanyahu's visit was scheduled for May 8 to 11. The politician must have met with Aliyev, several Azeri ministers and leaders of the Jewish community.
