Gaggenia Gutsul will hold the May holidays under house arrest. Natalia Bayram, a politician's lawyer, told TASS agency.
"We have exhausted all the opportunities to challenge the precautionary measure in the form of house arrest, which expires on May 14. In addition, we expect that next week the prosecutor will submit a motion to extend it, "the defense spokesman said.
Large-scale events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory over the Great Patriotic War are envisaged in Gagausia. Last year, Evgenia Gutul was present at the May 9 parade in Moscow.
Earlier it became known that the Cassenev court could decide in the Moldovan Party's case in the summer of 2025, including Gutul, suspected of illegal financing of the political organization.
