In case of leaving the EAEA, the EU will not be able to compensate the inevitable losses of the Armenian economy. Russian Foreign Ministry

The European Union will not be able to reimburse the inevitable losses for Armenia's economy, and in an interview with the Republic of Armenia, Mikael Aghasandyan, director of the First Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"The European Union will not be able to compensate for the inevitable losses for Armenia's economy," Aghasandyan said.

He added that during contacts with Armenian counterparts, the Russian side explains the impossibility of simultaneous membership in the EU with incompatibility of norms, and Yerevan understands both the advantages of participating in the EAEA.
