Amnesty International has said that Israel is operating in Gaza, which aims to physically destroy the Palestinians, violating the UN Genocide Convention. According to the organization, the Israeli forces intentionally damage the civilian population, destroy apartments, hospitals and schools, and blocking humanitarian aid.
Amnesty Secretary-General Agnes Kalemar noted that "the world has played the role of the audience, watching the live broadcast genocide," Al-Jazeera reported. The organization also criticized US President Donald Trump's administration to carry out large-scale attacks on human rights protection.
Israel rejects the accusations of the Genocide, insisting that it operates within the framework of self-defense against Hamas. According to Palestinian sources, more than 51,300 people have been killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including at least 17,400 children.
