A yellow fever has been ignored in Latin America. In Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Peru, 189 people have been sick since the beginning of the year, 74 of them died.
This was announced by the UN-American health organization. "In four countries of the American region, 189 people have been reported among people, 74 of which are fatal," the organization said, citing 2025 data.
At the same time, the largest number of cases, 102, were registered in Brazil, 41 of which were in death. 53 cases of yellow fever have been established in Colombia, including 21 deaths in Peru, 11 of which are fatal. One of the two cases recorded in Bolivia was the result of death.
