Spanish supermarkets reopened after power outage

The major networks of supermarkets in Spain announced on Tuesday that their work was resumed after a large electricity off the day, the PAIS newspaper reported, citing companies' statements.
"Companies such as Mercadona, EL Corte Inglés and Carrefour confirm that all their stores will be reopened at the beginning of the working day," the publication writes.

According to PAIS, almost 1,600 supermarkets in the Mercadona network have been able to continue their work even during the major disconnection of Monday. The company noted that the biggest challenge is a large customer flow that has forced some stores to restrict access to their territories.

The El Corte Inglés network also said that all its stores returned to their work on Tuesday.

According to the publication, the sources of another large network, Carrefour, said that their shops were able to continue working until closure. Also on Tuesdays have resumed stores of other companies such as DIA, Lidl, Aldi and Alcampo.
