Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the participants, coaches and referees of the "RA Prime Minister's Cup" table tennis tournament in Aghveran. This was reported by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The Prime Minister welcomed the participants and congratulated them for the opportunity to participate in the final round. Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the holding of the "RA Prime Minister's Cup" amateur tournament in various sports and emphasizing the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and sports among the society, including school-age children.
During the conversation, issues related to the development of sports, distribution and organization of competitions, the format of the tournament were discussed. The participants of the tournament, the coaches noted that these tournaments are of great interest among schoolchildren.
Prime Minister Pashinyan also answered the questions of those present.
The final round of the "RA Prime Minister's Cup" table tennis tournament will be held on April 27 at the Children's Sports School after Charentsavan, Charentsavan, Kotayk region. The winning teams of the regional rounds between the students of the 5th and 10-12nd grades of the RA General Education Institutions of Yerevan and the regions will take part in the Republican and final round.
More than 3,3200 students of 574 and 10-12 grades of 574 secondary schools in Yerevan and regions (about 810 teams) took part in the community round competitions.
