United Wildberries and Russ have discovered a deceit scheme, which scores malicious files to steal users' accounts. The press service of the company told TASS.
The company clarified that malicious files were sent in the form of photo archives. After installing these programs on the computer, the cheaters received a remote access to the user's device. Then they entered the Wildberries account and make purchases, marked the company.
In the first quarter of 2025, according to Wildberries and RUSs, the number of such attacks has increased significantly. However, due to the security system, the damage was zero. According to the company, 99.9% of the decorators were canceled, and more than 15 million rubles were prevented.
In February, the Russian Interior Ministry said that the cheaters have created a false Wildberries website to access the personal data of users. According to the ministry, the villains presented a real market campaign in a false domain, offering 4,000 rubles certificates in case of the Internet.
