Freddie Mercury's sister paid $ 4 million to return her personal belongings from former wife

The English press reported that the sister of the legendary Queen's soloist Freddie Merchant recently bought some of his personal belongings, paying about $ 4 million.
It is noted that these items used to belong to Mercury's close friend and heir Mary Austin, who kept the singer's memories and property for more than three decades.

According to the circulated data, the transaction was made on closed conditions, and it included both stage costumes and musical instruments and personal emails.
Before that, in 2023, Mary Austin organized a large-scale auction at Sotheby's, where about 1,500 personal items of Mercury were removed. The auction exceeded $ 50 million, and some of it was provided to charitable foundations, including Mercury Phoenix Trust.

It should be noted, however, that the official confirmation of this transaction is not yet confirmed, and the media continue to find out the authenticity of the information.
