On May 16, RA Ambassador to Romania Tigran Galstyan met with Amira Mihailescu, National Coordinator of Francophonie Affairs of the Romanian MFA.
As reported by the RA Embassy in Romania, the prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the field of Francophonie were discussed at the meeting, highlighting the strengthening and expansion of cooperation within the framework of the programs implemented by the International Organization of Francophonie and the Francophonie University Agency, regional representations located in Bucharest.
Cooperation between Armenian and Romanian higher educational institutions aimed at the promotion of Francophonie and mutual student visits programs, including the active participation of Armenian students in the Francophone summer university gathering in Bucharest this year, were noted with satisfaction.
There is a willingness on both sides to implement joint programs and events in the field of Francophonie and to activate cooperation in that regard.
