A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook northeastern Afghanistan, USGS reports.

The underground shocks were recorded 6:47 UTC (Moscow time 9:47) 53.6 kilometers southwest of Ishkashim, 12,100 people. The source was located at a depth of 94.1 kilometers.

There are no information about possible victims or destructions.
