Wp. Europe is investing in the production of weapons in Ukraine

The European allies of Kiev are considering investing in weapons in Ukraine as an alternative to weapons supply due to a possible military assistance from the United States. This was reported by Washington Post (WP), citing a European official.

More and more European countries are ready to give preference to investment in the Ukrainian military industry, not weapons, as their own reserves of European countries have been exhausted as a result of long-term aid.

Besides, according to WP, US weapons reserved by Washington administration is consumed, and Europe has doubts whether it will be able to fully compensate US assistance if Washington refuses to provide military assistance to Ukraine.

The official noted that in this case, the European member states of NATO will be able to use Ukraine as a "testicle" weapons, such as drones in which Europe has less experience.
