April 17, Senior Thursday, His Holiness Garegin II, in the presidency of the Catholicos of All Armenians, was the order of the footman in the Mother Cathedral of the Catholicos of All Armenians.
During the sacred ceremony, after the Scriptural readings, the Catholicos of All Armenians blessed the water and oil on the tabernacle.
Then, under the singing of hymns, the honor of the goddue was awarded the Congregations of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin with oil. Vahan Bishop Hovhannisyan, Hoghakir T. Students of Mashtots, Armen Dpir Grigoryan, Armen Dpir Grigoryan, Arthur Manukyan, Students of the Faculty of theology of Gorg Gorgoryan, YSU General Education School of Khachik Minasyan, YSU General Education School of the Faculty of theology, Students of the Faculty of theology of YSU Hambardzum Khanzadyan, Mher Avagyan, as well as Children Ohan Ohanyan, Spartak Gasparyan, David and Tigran Petrosyan's feet.
At the end of the ceremony, the Patriarch of All Armenians blessed the present pious people with a "preservative" prayer, after which the blessed oil was divided into believers.
