Mark Stone, the Prime Minister of Canada and the ruling Liberal Party, refused to call the situation in Gaza.
"The situation in the Gaza Strip is terrible, but I never use the word genocide in politics so that I may not politicize the situation," said the Prime Minister before the debate on national TV channels, before the extraordinary parliamentary elections.
During the debate, the leader of the "New Democratic Party" Jagmet Singh, in particular, called on the situation in the Gaza Strip to recognize as genocide.
Earlier, the Palestinian radical Hamas movement accused Israel of genocide against the Palestinian people.
