"Fact" daily writes:
These days, there is a lot of discussion on the topic that the pace of signature collection for Armenia's membership in the European Union is too slow. We think, however, that there is absolutely no point in fretting over the fact that signatures are being collected very slowly. On the contrary, as noted by many experts and figures, a little more than 33 thousand signatures collected so far mean a good work of the administrative resource, which ensures an average of a thousand signatures per day. At this pace, the necessary 50,000 signatures will be collected by November 14 to discuss the issue in the parliament. The organizers of the signature collection, the parties and non-governmental organizations that are part of the "Platform of Democratic Forces", are already confident that they will manage to collect the necessary 50,000 or more signatures. The problem here is not those signatures. they, like the empty points of the signature collection, do not mean anything by themselves. There are deeper questions. You see, the press has already written that they want to offer some of the "Eurovote" organizers positions in the executive, and rather "solid" positions. And after that, organizing referendums will become a "matter of technique". So, as the same expert circles point out, the political forces of Armenia can prepare for the "constitutional" referendum without wasting time, and if there was also an external "order", then also " to the "EU membership" referendum, even though the Kapakans and Nikol Pashinyan say that there is no need for the latter. The long-term goal of all this is clear: to remove Armenia from Russia, to keep the issue of membership in the EU in the foreground, to fulfill Azerbaijan's demands unconditionally. After all, Pashinyan and his patrons have been ready for all that for a long time and are following a road map that no one else has.
