The United States and Iran will hold the next stage of negotiations in Rome to normalize the situation around the Iranian nuclear program. The statement came from Kaspar Weldkamp, head of the Netherlands at the planned meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.
According to him, the Netherlands believes that Iran should not become a state with nuclear weapons.
"It would be best if we reached it through negotiations," Weldkamp told reporters.
The Minister added that the news that the talks will take place in the Netherlands do not correspond to reality.
"It will not be in the Netherlands, it will be in Rome," he said.
