In the Moscow Court of Boutirsk, the prosecutor asked that Mikhail Khachaturyan killed in 2018 will be found guilty of using his daughters. Lawyer Alexei Parshin told the RBC, who represents the interests of one of the victims.

In 2020, the relatives of the father of Khachaturian sisters agreed to be initiated against him. The Boutirsk Court registered it in the spring of 2023. The man has been posthumously charged with three points, sexual harassment, severe bodily injuries, and illegal circulation and preparation of pornographic materials.

Khachaturian sisters were arrested in 2018 after their father's body was found in the Moscow apartment. According to the investigators, the three daughters attacked Khachaturyan with a knife and hammered and killed him. A criminal case has been filed against girls.

They were detained, and later the precautionary measure was replaced by a ban on certain actions. According to the girls' defense, the father had chased and raped his daughters for several years, so their actions should be considered self-defense.

In December 2024, the lawyer of one of the girls said that Khachaturyan's trial would end in 2025. The lawyers of the Khachaturian sisters have said that their clients have been officially affected by the case. If their father is found guilty, it will be evidence that the sisters have been in self-defense.
