Romania does not intend to send troops to Ukraine

Romania does not intend to send troops to Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of National Defense Andel Tillar during the so-called preparation of the willing coalition at the meeting of the heads of the military departments on Thursday in Brussels.

"The Minister said that Romania does not intend to enter into the Ukrainian territory, but it is analyzed to provide logistics to international forces involved in the ensuring post-conflict guarantees," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Tyler also noted that ensuring the freedom of sea security and sailing is an important element of the future peace agreement.

"Romania, which is with Ukraine, is directly interested in terms of termination of the conflict and concluding a peace agreement, which will include strong security of Ukraine," he said.
