RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan received today at the invitation of the organizers of the French Festival to the Director of the French TV and Educational Department in Armenia. The IIA informs about this.
Deputy Minister of Edit Minister Daniel Danielyan and the founder of the Rea Festival, satirist Vrezh Kasuni, also took part in the meeting.
GMS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan welcomed the guests and emphasized the readiness of cooperation with France, distribution and television. Noting the importance of studying and mastering the French experience, the Minister of Education and the Minister stressed the importance of exchange of experience in the field of film production and broadcasting.
Within the framework of his visit to Armenia, Pierry Sirakuzan recently met with filmmakers in the Armenian Film Foundation, discussed the possibilities of animated TV and joint production and preferred formats in the professional market. He thanked for the reception, expressing readiness to share with the Armenian counterparts with a French experience.
According to satirist Vrezh Kasuni, the possibilities of creating animated TV series were discussed at the meeting with various sectoral representatives. Vrezh Kasuni informed that as a result of discussions with international partners, the possibility of creating an independent platform is considered. The platform will promote the activation of works on the creation of children with educational, cultural and national content.
Highlighting the strengthening of Armenian-French ties in various fields, the Minister emphasized the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of culture and education.
"The impact of media and social networks is growing in life and adolescents. Encouraging educational content is a priority target for the Ministry, "said GMS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, emphasizing the implementation of projects aimed at developing capacity.
The Minister also stressed that the reforms of Armenia's educational system, in particular, the new state standard of general education aims to develop the capabilities of students, where he specifically emphasizes the components of cultural and media literacy.
Zhanna Andreasyan also noted that the state attaches importance to the joint film production, the popularization of Armenian cinema, within which a number of legislative changes have been made. The Government of the Republic of Armenia has approved a partial compensation for investment in the field of film production, which provides for up to 35% of investment returns to Armenia. One of the strategic directions is the development of animated film production, as well as the creation of television educational and cultural programs.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
