The criminal proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee was substantiated by which A. K. gave an illegal pay to the RA National Assembly with the support of another person.
In particular, the preliminary investigation revealed that A. With the support of his acquaintance, K. addressed the NA official to organize the process of exporting agricultural animals to the United Arab Emirates for 200,000-300,000 USD. On August 9, 2023, the NA deputy reported that he had already reached an agreement with officials and demanded $ 200,000 to start the process, of which the remaining amount after the launch of the transaction.
During the meeting with the NA deputy on August 10, 2023, A. K. informed that the latter informed that it could transfer $ 20,000 to the official, and the rest of the amount will pay during exports to each batch of animals. However, the NA official noted that taking into account the amount of the previously determined amount, he has already reached agreements with officials, so he refused A. From receiving the amount of $ 20,000.
In order to pay an illegal remuneration of the National Assembly and support it, the above-mentioned two persons were charged with Article 439, Clause 3 of Article 439, Part 2 of Article 46-439.
The preliminary investigation was over criminal proceedings. The prosecutor approved the indictment, and the materials of the proceedings were sent to court.
