Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Armenia Alessandro Feranti. The statement issued by the municipality states that congratulating the Ambassador on his diplomatic mission in Armenia, Tigran Avinyan wished effective work in the responsible work.
Touching upon the agenda of bilateral relations between Yerevan and Italy, Tigran Avinyan highlighted the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two capitals in 2024 that it created a new platform for cooperation in the fields of urban management. It is planned to sign an agreement on Friendship and Cooperation between Yerevan and Naples in the near future.
Thanking for the willingness of warm reception and cooperation, Ambassador Alesandro Feranti highlighted the tourism potential between the two countries and noted that he will support the implementation of new joint projects within his powers.
